The big news of last week was the announcement of a deal between Aphria and Shoppers which certainly had the industry – and the Canadian public – talking.

(Or, depending on your perspective, the big news of the week was that beleavesigned a deal

with Jay and Silent Bob.) This week’s big news may come from today’s Finance Ministers’ meeting in Ottawa – or the fact that Tory Senators are stalling two bills – C-45 and C-46.
