Today we had the benefit of connecting with James O’Hara, the newly announced President and CEO of CFAMM – Canadians for Fair Access to Medical Marijuana – which is a preeminent voice for medical cannabis patients in Canada. It was a big announcement as many in the sector know the strong work of Jonathan Zaid, CFAMM’s founder from the organization’s inception until today. With tough shoes to fill, we took time to connect with James to talk about his taking the helm, the path forward for medical patients and the medical-focused component of the sector as well as what the ongoing tax issues mean for medical cannabis patients and the industry overall.
