Australian-based, international health and wellness Co adds UK CBD brand Savage Cabbage to complement medicinal cannabis brand Lumir, and operations across Australia, North America and Europe.
Cannim Group Limited, a Sydney-based medicinal cannabis business with interests in Europe, Australia, North America and the Caribbean has this week completed the acquisition of leading UK wellness retailer and distributor Savage Cabbage Limited in a cash-and-shares deal after working together since the beginning of the year.
Founded in 2016 by Jade Proudman, Savage Cabbage serves customers in more than 40 countries with a carefully curated portfolio of high-quality, full spectrum CBD products that only ever use organically grown hemp. As the UK market’s exclusive stockist of Charlotte’s Web, the world’s No.1 CBD brand by market share, Savage Cabbage is one of the UK’s and Europe’s most exciting, high profile and valuable brands. Products are available online through savagecabbage.co.uk, and in-store with new prominent UK retailers to be announced soon.
The acquisition is a significant milestone for Cannim, strategically positioning it in the UK and European markets with a proven, talented team. Jade will continue as Savage Cabbage’s CEO and work with the Cannim team to accelerate Savage Cabbage’s growth worldwide.
Cannim was launched in 2017 with a mission to promote the therapeutic potential of cannabis on a global scale. Its acquisition of Savage Cabbage complements and supports the Group’s recent launch of its Jamaican medicinal cannabis, and its Lumir brand into the prescription market in the UK.
