Curaleaf Clinic remains the highest rated medical cannabis clinic by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) having retained its ‘Outstanding’ rating in the ‘Well-led’ category and a ‘Good’ overall, affirming its commitment to excellence in patient care.
The inspection, conducted in 2024, evaluated multiple aspects of care delivery, including safety, effectiveness, responsiveness, and leadership, and found that Curaleaf Clinic remains dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
2024 has been another significant year of growth for Curaleaf Clinic, with more patients than ever seeking access to medical cannabis for conditions such as chronic pain, neurological disorders, and mental health conditions, when conventional treatments have been ineffective.
The report highlights how the clinic is successfully meeting this increased demand while maintaining its high standards. It states, “We did not find any evidence that the service offered to patients had been affected by their growth.”
Dr. Simon Erridge, Head of Research and Access at Curaleaf Clinic commented:
Curaleaf Clinic is the only UK clinic actively publishing peer-reviewed research on the outcomes of medical cannabis patients. This real-world evidence is paving the way for greater awareness and understanding of the medicine, to improve access for those who need it most. With robust patient monitoring, experienced medical professionals, and a strong leadership team, the clinic continues to set the benchmark for the industry.
