Cannabis Stocks Today — Monday 1 June 2026: MSOS Climbs to $5.01 as IM Cannabis and iPower Lead NASDAQ Gains

    By

Cannabis equities begin June in mixed fashion, with the sector’s exchange-listed names showing a slight positive bias while OTC-traded US multi-state operators carry the weight of last Friday’s declines into Monday’s session. With the US market approximately one hour into regular trade as of 15:30 BST, the AdvisorShares Pure US Cannabis ETF (MSOS) sits at $5.01, up 1.83% on the day, while IM Cannabis (IMCC) and iPower (IPW) are among the early leaders on NASDAQ and NYSE respectively. Following Wednesday 20 May’s session, today reopens our Cannabis Stocks Today coverage after a fortnight’s gap. OTC-listed US operators carry Friday 29 May closing data, which commonly reflects a one trading-day lag in Finnhub price feeds. Business of Cannabis tracks 38 tickers across plant-touching operators, ancillary names, and sector ETFs.

Of the 38 tickers with valid data, 14 currently sit above their prior close, 22 are in negative territory, and 2 are flat. Among exchange-listed names trading live today, 10 of 27 are green against Friday’s close. Canadian LPs are broadly constructive in early trade: Cronos Group holds at $2.88 (+1.41%), Tilray Brands at $5.56 (+0.91%), OrganiGram at $1.15 (+0.88%), and High Tide at $2.47 (+0.82%). The downside is concentrated in OTC-listed US operators, where Jushi Holdings sits at $0.49 (-7.15%), Vext Science at $0.19 (-5.45%), and Cresco Labs at $0.92 (-4.48%) on Friday’s final prints. Readers should note that OTC quotes will update as Monday’s data is processed through the feed.

The biggest percentage move in Friday’s OTC data belongs to Ayr Wellness (AYRWF), which closed at $0.0223, up 28.16% from $0.0174 at the prior close. The Florida-based multi-state operator has traded in micro-penny territory for much of 2026; at these price levels, thin OTC liquidity can amplify percentage moves significantly. The stock traded as high as $0.027 during Friday’s session. No sourced news driver has been identified at the time of writing, though the scale of the move warrants attention as Monday’s OTC data firms up through the afternoon.

IM Cannabis (IMCC) is the session’s leading NASDAQ gainer, currently at $0.304 (+5.56%). The Israeli-Canadian cannabis operator, which holds active licences in Israel, Germany, and Canada, trades approximately 5.5% above Friday’s $0.288 close without an obvious session catalyst in Monday’s early trade. IMCC has been a volatile participant in recent sessions, and the current level, while firmer on the day, sits well below the $0.50-plus range the stock occupied in early 2026.

iPower (IPW) holds at $4.07 on NYSE, up 5.71% from a prior close of $3.85. The California-based hydroponic equipment and growing-supply retailer serves both cannabis cultivators and mainstream horticultural customers. Today’s move builds on recent gains; investors should note iPower operates in the cannabis supply chain as an ancillary business rather than as a plant-touching operator, giving it a materially different regulatory and banking profile from the OTC-listed MSOs. The stock was covered in Business of Cannabis market updates during May, having traded at a very different level mid-month.

On the downside, Trulieve Cannabis (TCNNF) carries Friday’s $9.29 close, down 3.99% from $9.67, consistent with broad pressure across OTC-listed US operators last week. The Florida-anchored chain operates the largest network of licensed dispensaries in its home state and remains one of the sector’s larger revenue generators by annual sales. The stock’s $9.29 level sits at the lower end of its recent range. No earnings release or regulatory filing has been confirmed as a driver of Friday’s decline.

The ETF complex gives a mixed reading as the week opens. MSOS, the leading pure-play vehicle for US cannabis, sits at $5.01 (+1.83%) and the ETFMG Alternative Harvest ETF (MJ) at $26.80 (+0.87%), both modestly constructive, while the AdvisorShares Pure Cannabis ETF (YOLO) trades at $3.01 (-2.59%). Among ancillary names, Scotts Miracle-Gro (SMG) has lost $1.19 to $57.81 (-2.02%), consistent with broader consumer-sector softness in Monday’s session. Federal legislative developments remain the primary macro backdrop for cannabis equities; no new announcements have emerged in this morning’s early trade.
