The Business of Cannabis Awards 2026 is returning to London for its third consecutive year to celebrate the best and brightest figures in the European cannabis industry.
Since its launch in 2024, the Business of Cannabis Awards has established itself as the most anticipated night on the European cannabis calendar, bringing together the industry’s most influential figures to celebrate excellence, innovation, and leadership across the value chain.
Last year’s ceremony drew more than 200 senior professionals and cemented the awards’ reputation as an unmissable fixture for anyone serious about the European market.
Nominations are now open, and entry to all categories is completely free, ensuring every business and individual, regardless of size or resources, has the opportunity to be recognised.
This year’s ceremony will return to Rivington Street, London, on Tuesday, 26 May, after the first day of Cannabis Europa London.
This year’s awards will introduce three new categories. First, the Hannah Deacon Award, honouring an individual who has shown exceptional dedication in championing patients’ rights and improving cannabis access across Europe.
Two further categories make their debut in 2026 are Consumer Technology Provider of the Year, recognising companies delivering outstanding innovation and impact in services that enhance the consumer experience; and AgriTech Provider of the Year, honouring those advancing agricultural productivity, sustainability, and resilience through technology. Together with the Hannah Deacon Award, the additions bring the total number of categories to ten, reflecting the growing breadth and maturity of the European cannabis sector.
The full list of 2026 categories spans ten awards across two groups.
The group categories recognise organisational excellence:
- Cannabis Clinic of the Year
- Cannabis Team of the Year
- Consumer Technology Provider of the Year
- AgriTech Provider of the Year
- European Company of the Year
- Business Leader of the Year
- Producer of the Year
The individual categories celebrate standout personal contributions:
- International Journalist of the Year
- Industry Rising Star Award
- The Hannah Deacon Award
Introducing the VIP Experience
For the first time, the Business of Cannabis Awards will be included as part of Cannabis Europa’s newly launched VIP Experience, a dedicated premium forum for senior executives, investors, and policymakers.
Deliberately limited in size, the VIP Experience offers a separate space with its own agenda and service team, exclusive industry briefings, invite-only roundtable discussions, and direct access to investors actively deploying capital across Europe’s cannabis landscape. VIP tickets include access to the awards ceremony on the evening of 26 May.
