Ontario’s regulator, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), just announced some really big news for the retailers this week. They are going to double the number of store authorizations per month, this fall. They came out and said, “the fall” – we are anticipating September or early October. That means that they are actually moving away from 20 store authorizations per month to now 40. This will significantly decrease the timelines that most of these retail applicants were concerned about and are seeing.
