    CanCoin appoints Scott de Mercado to Advisory Board

    The CanCoin has announced the appointment of tech, media and pharma expert Scott de Mercado to its Advisory Board.

    The CanCoin, a cannabis token that utilises blockchain and has been designed to solve market friction and monetisation in the European cannabis market has announced co-founder of Cannabis Delivery Sciences, a subsidiary of Klaria Pharma Holding AB, Scott de Mercado, to its board of advisors. 

    CanCoin says de Mercado’s expertise as a business developer with an extensive network in media, tech, venture capital, private equity and cannabinoid sectors will allow it to further its mission of addressing key cannabis market problems in the European Union. 

    A wealth of expertise 

    Scott de Mercado was also founder of Audiotube, a platform that allows artists to manage their digital assets with transparent distribution, marketing and monetisation solutions. He currently serves as an advisor to one of Europe’s largest food tech funds Astanor, as well as to Ameba Capital, one of China’s most successful SAS VCs. Additionally, de Mercado was trainer and manager of heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis for ten years.
