The week ending January 26, 2018 was another historic week in the Canadian cannabis sector – and starting today, we will have a Week in Review feature to do our best to recap the happenings of the week that was in cannabis – and give everyone something to watch over the weekend.
Our first guest was Matt Maurer. Matt is the chair of the Cannabis Law Group at the law firm of Minden Gross LLP in Toronto. He is on the Editorial Board of the Cannabis Law Journal and is a frequent contributor Cannainvestor Magazine, Canada Cannabis Legal, and Slaw.ca. He has also been a speaker at MJBiz Con. Business of Cannabis talked to Matt about the Aurora/CanniMed deal, updated physical security regulations from Health Canada and what to look for in the week ahead – including the Senate of Canada being back and session and perhaps taking up C-45.
