Ontario’s industry continues to see a growth trajectory as it plays a bit of catch-up in terms of the number of operational retailers in the province. Cannabis Benchmarks calculated average per-capita spending in each province’s regulated market amongst residents of legal age.
In Ontario, that figure is C$7.63 per month, less than half that of Alberta’s C$15.42 per month, indicating significant room for retail expansion and sales growth in Ontario’s legal market.
