‘We, The Patients’ Set to Host Inaugural Event For Medical Cannabis Patients Next Month

By patients for patients

Cannabis as a treatment option for neurodegenerative diseases

After a successful launch in Madrid in October, “We, The Patients” is bringing its first event to  Switzerland. On March 1, 2025, the event location Resident Zurich Seefeld will open its doors to patients, relatives and interested parties from 12 noon to 4 pm.

“We want to offer those affected the opportunity,” explains Franziska Quadri, President of the patient  organization MEDCAN, ”to find out about the medical use of cannabis. Unfortunately, it is still difficult  to find support from medical professionals in Switzerland if you want to treat yourself with cannabis.”

The free event offers patients a platform for information, exchange and mutual support. The aim is to  highlight the possibilities and challenges of the medical use of cannabis for chronic and degenerative  neurological diseases and to give patients a voice.
