LEADING UK CBD firm Taylor Mammon has been bought by premier US operator GenCanna to create one of the world’s major sector players.
Formed in 2018 Taylor Mammon’s co-founder and Managing Director Nathan Wogman says the deal positions it for ‘significant international growth’.
The move culminates ta three-year partnership during which GenCanna has served as Taylor Mammon’s primary source of CBD and other cannabinoids for infusion into brand products.
Taylor Mammon is a white label manufacturer and brand distributor of CBD-infused goods. GenCanna, is a leading producer of hemp-derived, THC-free, premium CBD and other cannabinoids.
GenCanna CEO Andrew Barnett said: “As one of our long-term and valued customers, we admired Taylor Mammon’s philosophy and approach to CBD.
“This alliance — which we understand is the first of its kind for a UK-based CBD company — drives unique and mutually beneficial operational and marketing synergies that will catapult product development, sales, and revenue opportunities within our respective geographies.”
The acquisition follows 18-months work by Taylor Mammon to prepare its Novel Foods Application in tandem with GenCanna.
