Sativa Learning is launching its new course on Monday, 10 January, 2021, which features expert-led content from pioneering cannabis clinicians in the UK.
The expert Sativa Learning course has been developed in conjunction with the UK’s Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society and is accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Certification Service.
It aims to give participants a complete understanding of cannabis medicine, taking a deep dive into 10 conditions for which cannabis has been shown to be effective in treating.
The course features expert-led educational content from nine doctors experienced in medical cannabis, personal accounts from nine medical cannabis patients, a mix of text and image-based learning as well as video content and references to more than 100 peer-reviewed medical cannabis papers.
Sativa Learning founder, Ryan McCreanor, commented: “We are delighted to launch our CPD Accredited Medical Cannabis Course in conjunction with the Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society. Doctors and patients have come together to develop the educational content which includes over two hours of video as well as text and image-based learning.”

“The course has been specifically developed for medical students, doctors and healthcare professionals seeking a comprehensive understanding of cannabis as a medicine.
“We also take a deep dive into ten conditions for which cannabis is currently prescribed. Experienced clinicians discuss how they prescribe medical cannabis for each condition and patients comment on how a prescription has impacted their quality of life.
“We believe the medical cannabis industry should be patient-centric and we wanted to be sure their voices were heard.”
The course will consist of informal module quizzes and concludes with a final exam and students will earn a Medical Cannabis Course Certificate of Completion.
