LEADING CBD company Reakiro has followed up on its successful launch in the UK’s 700-plus Holland & Barrett stores with listings in over 200 of the health food retailers continental outlets.
Reakiro’s Scottish-born Chief Executive Officer Stuart McKenzie says he is delighted with the company’s progress in 2020, which saw turnover double.
Sales were given a pre-Christmas boost in the UK when a range of 14 products, including CBD oils, sprays and capsules, were listed in Holland & Barrett’s 737 stores, and on-line, in late November.
This has now been followed up with further listings in stores in the Netherlands, Ireland and Belgium, totalling a further 200-plus outlets.
Financial Strength & Scale
Mr McKenzie hailed the UK listing as one of the biggest CBD deals of 2020 and believes Reakiro’s standing as one of Europe’s leading brands and white-label suppliers as key to its success.
“It’s early days but we are both very happy so far. Holland & Barrett looked at hundreds of brands and we are delighted to be chosen as one of two new companies they listed.
“We got in every store immediately; normally they list in a sample of stores to see how things progress but they seem assured of our financial strength and scale and now we are successfully launching in the Benelux countries and Ireland; an additional 200-plus stores.”
After fulfilling the initial stock orders, Ukraine-based Reakiro has received an additional four orders for replenishments and is now in talks with Holland & Barrett in regards to listing new ‘science-based’ CBD ranges, targeting specific user groups.
He continued: “The response has been very good with both consumers and Holland & Barrett staff alike; they like the quality, the packaging and we have received some very good feedback.
