Medical cannabis investors Pharma C to list on London’s Aquis Stock Exchange

    By

Medical cannabis company Pharma C has announced plans to list on the London-based Aquis Stock Exchange.

It joins a host of companies who have looked to the capital’s markets to raise funds in 2021 and further cements the city’s reputation as a place to do business for the industry.

The company has an ‘early stage investor’ model and is particularly interested in acquiring ‘ancillary’ service operations linked to the growing sector.

According to a statement announcing the move, the company will initially focus on firms operating in the UK, Europe and Israel.

Pharma C say they will offer investors access to £1million worth of shares at its IPO.

Sharon Segal, chair of Pharma C, commented: “I am delighted to see the company take a huge step in allowing investors to tap into the mounting interest in medical cannabis by listing on the AQSE Growth Market and I am proud of the hard work the team has done to get us to this stage.

“The combined experience of the board and advisory team provides potential investors with the confidence that the business can deliver high returns on investment and identify compelling growth opportunities by utilising both their entrepreneurial experience and knowledge of the medical cannabis sector.”

The Aquis market – which is often seen as a smaller, challenger market when compared to the London Stock Exchange – has attracted a host of cannabis-based businesses looking to attract investment.

Scottish CBD firm Voyager was the most recent to announce plans to list on the market.

Chana Greenberg, CEO of Pharma C, said: “This listing provides an incredible milestone for our company. We are delighted to be joining the AQSE Growth Market at such an important time for medical cannabis related businesses both in the UK and globally.

“I am proud to be part of a female-led team that creates an exciting opportunity for investors to enter the high growth cannabis space through a lower-risk investment vehicle focused on ancillary businesses.”
