Since 2018, Business of Cannabis has produced Medical Cannabis Week to surface and celebrate insights and innovations from patients, practitioners and the industry. While a full week, in-person Medical Cannabis Week event was not possible in May 2020, we moved ahead with a weeklong, virtual Medical Cannabis Week in November 2020.
Strainprint’s medical cannabis tracking app has allowed aggregated data to inform medical cannabis formulations. Dave Berg, Strainprint’s President and Chief Technology Officer, joined Medical Cannabis Week to deliver a presentation about how data collected through the Strainprint app, once anonymized, is able to be used to create formulations in the medical, wellness and adult-use recreational cannabis sectors.
