On Tuesday evening, May 26, Business of Cannabis relaunched Cannabis Forward with over 200 people tuned in to engage in conversation, networking and understanding about the current state of cannabis retail in Canada. With a broad range of voices represented, attendees heard about how cannabis consumers have responded to COVID-19 – as well as how retailers throughout Canada are dealing with regulations, competition and consumer demand.
The sessions were recorded and are now available.
Jay Rosenthal, Co-Founder and President of Business of Cannabis welcomed attendees.
Jason Moscovici of ROBIC – the presenting partner – provided welcoming remarks.
Liz Stahura, co-founder + President of BDSA, provided a deep dive into consumer behaviour in the age of COVID-19. BDSA is the Official Insights Partner of Business of Cannabis.
A panel of leading retailers in Canada provided their respective insight. Panelists included Jeremy Jacob of Village Bloomery, Mimi Lam of Superette, Nathan Mison of Fire & Flower and Lara Wood of Cannabis NB.
