Cannabis + Sport is a program to highlight the research, efficacy and policy implications of cannabis and sport. Hearing first hand from current and former athletes about how, when and why they incorporated cannabis into their recovery regimes, their pain management regimes and their recreation will provide context for the cannabis and sport conversation. As well, the CFLAA has been a vocal voice speaking about the policy and practical implications of cannabis and sport and will present their own views on the subject – especially as it relates the policy implications for leagues and athletes past and present. Finally, a review of where research stands related to recovery, pain management, concussion protocols and other sport-related topics will be reviewed experts.
