Business of Cannabis wanted to explore some of the similarities – and differences – between what happens in Canada and what is happening in other places. We checked in with Dr. Adam Rothschild, a Pittsburgh-based, board certified in family medicine and also runs PGH MMJ – where he prescribes medical cannabis to patients. When we spoke with Dr. Rothschild, we described how doctors are able to certify themselves to prescribe cannabis as well as why, he believes, physicians are resistant to prescribing cannabis to patients.
