With experience of over 10 years at the highest levels of the global cannabis industry, Ron Lipsky has built a global network of trusting relationships in multiple verticals and geographies. At his last role at MGC Pharma, where he was VP of Business Development and International Relations, Ron was responsible for two listings on public exchanges (ASX and LSE), governmental negotiations leading to MGC being the first company granted an LOI to engage in cannabis activities in Malta, as well as ensuring 3 million Euro in EU funding for building a GMP manufacturing facility on the Island. A veritable cannabis Forrest Gump, Ron has been present for medical regulation and legalization in the Czech Republic, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Malta, Macedonia, Germany, Thailand and many more, working with regulators, leading companies and local activists. Over the past five years, his focus has been more on integration of the world of Pharma and Phyto-therapies, building relationships with bodies and individuals capable of moving phyto-pharmaceutical products through regulatory hurdles toward market authorizations in multiple regions. Since leaving MGC he has founded CannAccess, a Thailand based company which is working with best in class companies from the global cannabis industry and Thailand to create a robust, viable and long term hub to support the emerging Asian Cannabis Industry.
