Our first Quick Hits on this front comes from Pennsylvania – where a new medical regime came into effect in 2017. We checked in with Dr. Adam Rothschild, a Pittsburgh-based, board certified in family medicine and also runs PGH MMJ – where he prescribes medical cannabis to patients. When we spoke with Dr. Rothschild, we described how doctors are able to certify themselves to prescribe cannabis as well as why, he believes, physicians are resistant to prescribing cannabis to patients.
