Releaf Prepares to Launch Its ‘Technology-Led’ Medical Cannabis Model Internationally

    By

Releaf, a leading UK medical cannabis clinic, has announced the launch of a new global expansion strategy as it prepares to take its proven healthcare model to new international markets.

As part of this new initiative, Releaf has acquired the Releaf.com domain for £110,000, which it says is it’s ‘launchpad for global growth’.

Jon Dunn, Marketing Director at Releaf, explained: “This isn’t just a domain, it’s our passport to every market we enter. It gives us instant credibility, makes our brand unforgettable, and ensures patients worldwide know exactly where to find us.”

The clinic, now the fastest-growing in the UK, serving ‘over 300,000 unique website visitors monthly’, says that with data proving the efficacy of its approach in the ‘highly regulated healthcare environment of the UK’, it is time for an ‘international rollout’, beginning with the launch of Releaf in Germany.

Now, Releaf will target markets where ‘patients face similar structural challenges in accessing cannabinoid healthcare’, aiming to bring its ‘technology-led model’ to those who could benefit from medical cannabis treatment elsewhere.

Releaf’s Brand Director, Peter Zownir, told Business of Cannabis that the move is closely tied to strengthening the brand for the long term, noting that Releaf is already collaborating with leading European creative agencies and developing new projects overseas, with filming work scheduled to take place shortly.

Its technology-led platform uses AI-assisted triage to match patients with specialist prescribers, is fully integrated with the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) Spine, and delivers ‘doctor-led care to patients’ doors,’ helping remove traditional barriers to access.

As such, Releaf says it is now onboarding over 120 new patients and conducting over 300 consultations every day, driving ‘substantial expansion’ with a view to doubling its clinical operations month-on-month to reach over 6000 consultation slots a month by the end of the year.

This model now sees Releaf achieve monthly revenues of £2.1m, funds it says it is continuing to reinvest into clinician onboarding, patient support, and platform enhancements, while ensuring high standards of care, and building capacity for its international expansion ambitions.

“With European operations already underway, the company is well-positioned to become a leading provider of regulated cannabinoid healthcare globally,” Releaf said in a press statement.
