Seeking a Sales Representative for a premium Canadian cannabis nursery

For this week’s Job of the Week, Cannabis At Work is seeking Sales Representative in Canada for their client, a premium Canadian cannabis nursery, to develop their genetic sales and distribution to the domestic legal market.


  • Identify and qualify prospective accounts daily and meet monthly activity/revenue goals
  • Develop sales relationships with new and existing accounts via cold calls and follow-ups
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Maintain and update monthly forecasting and reporting to align with corporate goals
  • Educate accounts on products and processes through consultations and marketing collateral
  • Update CRM with client interaction notes, emails, calls, tasks, meetings, deals, and support tickets
  • Maintain communications with the manager about account activities, inventories, and current/pending orders
  • Maintain knowledge base on current and emerging markets/trends, identifying key targets before they launch
  • Conduct quarterly business planning meetings, set strategy, and execute
  • Organize and participate in international trade shows, seminars, and industry-related events
  • Collaborate with team members and assist as needed
  • Support and maintain client onboarding processes, applications, and systems
  • Assist with customer inquiries, orders, and challenges
  • Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (marketing, genetics, logistics, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum 3 years of account management experience in CPG industries or regulated industries
  • Business-to-business selling in the cannabis space
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and develop methods and procedures in undefined and rapidly changing markets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; takes initiative and manages a challenging workload; a self-starter
  • Skilled in customer business planning and supply chain management
  • Positive attitude, team player, and strong negotiation skills are a must
  • Understanding of the cannabis plant or working knowledge of cannabis
  • Post-secondary education in business is an asset
  • Fluent in English, German, Spanish, French, and Hebrew is an asset
  • Cultivation experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of HubSpot CRM is an asset.
