Since 2018, Business of Cannabis has produced Medical Cannabis Week to surface and celebrate insights and innovations from patients, practitioners and the industry. While a full week, in-person Medical Cannabis Week event was not possible in May 2020, we moved ahead with a weeklong, virtual Medical Cannabis Week in November 2020.
Blake Pearson, M.D. is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and a board-certified family physician in the U.S. He is a practicing family physician who has focused his practice on cannabinoid medicine and has treated thousands of patients with range of complex conditions including chronic pain, M.S., sleep disorders, anxiety and chemotherapy-induced nausea & vomiting, among others. He also has extensive experience leveraging cannabinoid therapies in long-term, elder care settings.
Dr. Pearson spends much of his time educating policymakers, organizations and fellow medical professionals around the world, through Greenly Health and Greenly Medical Consulting, where he serves as Founder and Chief Medical Advisor.
Dr. Pearson joined Medical Cannabis Week to share insights into how receptiveness to doctors learning about medical cannabis has changed over time and what that means for patients.
