In this week’s episode, Stahura provides an update on BDSA’s Canadian cannabis market update forecast revisions for the year, which include considerations of COVID’s effect on legal cannabis markets.
The percentage of adults of legal age who are currently cannabis consumers is in the high 30s in all three of the biggest cannabis markets. It is very much in line with what we see within the US and Colorado – our high water mark – about 42%. Watching these addressable populations continue to grow as cannabis becomes more and more mainstream means that the opportunity continues to increase.
