AUGUST 20, 2018, TORONTO – Cannabis is one of the most highly promising and potentially disruptive health, wellness and anti-aging therapies to become available to older Canadians in years. At the same time, those over the age of 65, are the fastest growing demographic in Canada. Before recreational legalization arrives in Canada, Business of Canada is bringing together these dynamic trends in a multi-day event focused on boomer consumers and members of health, wellness and lifestyle industries that serve them.
The 2018 Green + Silver Symposium will be comprised of three major components:
- Cannabis 101 for Seniors: Education for Consumers on Medical, Recreational and Everything In Between;
- Caring for Seniors through Cannabis: Programming for care professionals and family members interested in learning more about how to incorporate cannabis into care regimes;
- The Senior/Boomer Market – A Research-Based Look at the Market and Marketing.
